SKV (Swastika Kozmic Victorz) was formed by Shigehisa Yokoyama, the vocalist of the Japanese hardcore band G.I.S.M. The name refers to his stage name "Sakevi", except with every other letter missing, thus spelling "SKV". There have been rumors that Sakevi's solo project has been around for quite a while, but there has only been one official release from SKV, entitled "The War", which was released on Beast Arts in 2004.
