Nassim Al Fakir, born on March 21, 1977, is a Swedish musician, presenter, comedian, voice actor, and lecturer for children and adolescents. He is of mixed heritage, with a Syrian father from Damascus, and a Swedish mother. Nassim grew up as the third of six siblings in a musical household, and he attended the prestigious Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm, where he developed his musical talents.
Al Fakir is a skilled drummer and has performed in various bands, frequently collaborating with his younger brother, the musician Salem Al Fakir. In addition to his music career, Nassim has become a recognizable face on Swedish television, particularly for children's programming. His television career began on TV4's digital channels before he gained popularity on SVT's children's show Bolibompa.
He has also released several solo music albums. His debut album Ute & cyklar came out in 2011, followed by Springer runt & säger hej in 2016, and his latest release, Årets album, in 2022.
Beyond his work as a musician and TV presenter, Al Fakir is also known for his role as the voice of Olaf in the Swedish version of Disney's Frozen. In 2021, he appeared on Masked Singer Sweden, performing as the "robot" character.
In 2022, Nassim showcased his diverse talents with a highly successful live show titled Nassim Flippar Ur, which was performed to sold-out audiences at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. The show’s popularity led to plans for a 2024 tour, starting in Gothenburg.
