Yusuf Saheed Ayomide, popularly known as Sy Gold Ayomide, was born on December 7, 1988, from Ede, South Osun State, Nigeria. Raised in the rural suburbs of Benin City, Sy Gold Ayomide started his career at the age of 15, and the motivation to make music started at his workplace, where he learned carpentry. Sy Gold Ayomide grew up in Benin City and has stopped at nothing to be more than a street artist. His sound is a unique style of Afro soul with an infusion of modern sound.
