- Recently, he developed a method to achieve precise tuning by using simple functions implemented in a calculator. This tool provides access to BBC weather service to enable accurate sound speed operations, plus giving access to tuning devices to be applied in microtuning.

- RM18, his idiosyncratic tuning, has been his main focus and compositional approach since its design. The system divides the octave in eighteen equal parts starting at nine Hz. Whilst still in an experimental phase, it offers exciting free harmonic research possibilities without the need to adjust to any specified criteria.
