Formed the first day of January '98 Protein Shake has played tirelessly, releasing 3 full length albums, Protein Shake, 1999, We Are Still Animals..., 2000 and their last album entitled A Bleeding Interruption, released in 2002. They have played throughout Texas and the Southwest with various acts such as Mudvayne, Nonpoint, System of a Down, Glassjaw, Earth Crisis, Drowningman, Hedpe and more... Protein Shake's music is a hi-octane fusion of metal and emo-core music setting the stage for explosive live shows, blurring the lines between band and crowd. Rest In Peace, Jason Sandbach.
