Dubbed by many of DC101's DJ's as "The hardest working and most persistent band out there today," NGB is taking the tri-state music scene completely by storm. If there is a club you've gone to with friends, they've played there. If you hear your favorite band on the radio chances are they have played with them. NGB has carved a name for themselves as "the band that just will not stop." PROMOTIONS: They have demonstrated shear power and unstoppable promotions at their live shows, and implemented the most unique tactics and approaches for getting fans and creating a name for themselves. If you are out and about in any part of Maryland, DC, or Virginia, chances are you'll see Nick Garrett, Mike O'Donnell, or someone from NGB's street team handing out CD's and sharing info with fans. Their unique approach of the demographic study of cities then hitting the city with full force promotion is reminiscent of a general at war attacking a city. It has worked wonders for NGB. INTERNET: The Internet has been a useful tool for NGB's exponential success. Who better to head up this department then NGB's guitar player and backing vocalist Chris Rice. Chris works for Hewlett Packard and is a genius with online research, submissions, and development. He has etched NGB into a monstrous online status. www.nickgarrettband.com, NGB's website, receives thousands of hits each month and is one of the most professional down to earth sites on the web. Its design is mature and to the point. All of the information one would need is there and there are some extras that make a trip to the NGB site an exciting one. LIVE PERFORMANCE: NGB averages 7 shows per month. They have an unstoppable combined performance history of approximately 250 shows. For pre-sale or ticket master events, NGB always meets the challenge outselling the bands they play with and shocking club owners with their fan turnout. NGB believes in the power set. They might have 2 or 3 hours of material, but usually play a 45 or 50 minute set leaving fans eager to hear more or come out to more shows. At an NGB show, the promotions are simple and effective. They usually have enough free CD's for everyone in the club. As far as selling merchandise, they leave most of that up to their online store. The online store offers a full line of NGB apparel. Scott recorded NGB's most recent single "Cold." This song is climbing unsigned band charts all over the country into the top ten. "Cold" is receiving airplay on many radio stations including DC101. Scott's reputation as a producer and musical visionary is typified in his work with other artists and producers as well. In addition to NGB, Scott and his affiliates have worked with Jason Mraz, Chris Kirkpatrick, SR-71, O.A.R, and Breaking Ground, just to name a few.
