Rian Peters is a 23 year old singer, songwriter, dancer and all round entertainer hailing from London. As a professional dancer he has studied street, tap and contemporary dance and has been a backing dancer for many major stars. His beautiful voice has also enabled him to work as a backing singer for some of the biggest names in the industry including Leona Lewis, Estelle, Lauryn Hill and Michael McDonald. Rian began performing from the tender age of three, taking inspiration from the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, whom he lists as his number one inspiration. Rian has worked with Grammy Award winning producers Simon Climie and "Stargate", co-writing and co-producing 4 songs in their NYC studio. Rian’s song writing skills we’re clearly evident and he went on to pen the song “Side by Side” for Terri Walkers third studio album. He has also worked with Brian West who produced chart topping singles for Nelly Furtado. Focusing on his own material, Rian has created an album of songs that are sure to get you rocking. Rian describes his sound as “Industrial, New Wave, Pop” and with it he is set to break new ground. Rian is set to release his first promo single in 2010 showcasing his own new style. The single is called “Getaway” and features Grime artist Wiley. In recent months Rian has been busy performing at various shows in London including the coveted Bedford Club, I Luv Live, Cobden Club and Cordless Show. Rian’s breathtaking performance has left the crowd demanding an encore on more than one occasion. The promoters of these shows have been wowed by Rian’s appeal, inviting him back for repeat performances and “best of” shows. One promoter states “his silky voice and seductive charm had many of the ladies feeling the connection and the audience lost for words”.
