Ludovico Einaudi is a renowned Italian pianist and composer. Ballaké Sissoko is an Afrikan Kora player (A kora being a 21-string harp-lute of West-African origin). In 2005, they joined efforts to create the album Diario Mali. Their music is dialogue between two cultures, two different worlds. It incorporates traces of renaissance music, African music, Blues and Caraibic music.
