Solo artist born 1961 in South Yorkshire, UK : writing and producing music that can broadly be described as - ambient, electronica and instrumental.

From 1980-1984 Scarfe played keyboards with The Danse Society a post-punk group from Barnsley UK who achieved moderate success as independent artists but failed to make the transition to major label. Frustrated with the direction the band had moved towards Scarfe left The Danse Society in 1984. He had little involvement in music until the 90's when he produced electronica under the title PsychoSpy and later UltraGlider. As UltraGlider tracks were featured on the Out of Orion compilation released in Italy in the late 90's.

From the 90's through to present day Scarfe's musical output has emerged in fits and starts. He has produced a number of electronic and ambient pieces though none have seen official release.

A wide range of artists have influenced his work. Brian Eno has been a major influence since the late 70's. Other influences range from classical, minimalist composers such as Steve Reich and Arvo Part, the drone,ambient work of Stars of the Lid and post-rock artists Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai and Labradford.

He lives in South Yorkshire with his wife and daughters.
