Sorg Uten Tårer is a one man Melodic Black Metal Band found in 2006. All songs are written, performed and home-recorded by Retribution. Sorg Uten Tårer means "Sorrow Without Tears" in Norwegian. The first CD "Bladesong" was released in August 2007. The 9th release "For Eternity" came out in January 2010. The band has recently acquired additional musicians in order to gig.

As of Nov 6, 2012, the new album named Somnolent Melancholy has been released.
