Mariae Cassandra is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter (Born in October 13, 2007) born in Cebu, Philippines, and currently based in Perth, Western Australia. She rose to prominence after winning Australian radio station Triple J’s “Unearthed High” competition in 2024 with her song “Million Billion Trillion,” dedicated to her best friend.

Inspired by artists such as beabadoobee and Clairo, Mariae Cassandra is known for creating captivating music that reflects personal experiences and authentic emotions. She began her career by sharing videos on YouTube and TikTok, where she amassed millions of views, before emerging as a talented singer-songwriter.

In addition to winning “Unearthed High,” Mariae Cassandra was nominated for the Western Australian Music Association (WAM) Song of the Year award in 2024 and sold out her first headlining show.
