The story of Ebinezer starts with an untold journey of a man named Joshua Michael. This man, at a young age,
learned of his passion and talent of music. With a scattered family of musicians across the country, he had
many different influences from his upbringing. Journeying from the city of Chicago, he made his way to the
Sonoran Deserts of Arizona. Finding a different kind of musical influence from a small town's high school. Here
in this ol' ghetto, he found experimental heavy metal in a band named simply, Inkult.

During his years with Inkult the band wrote, recorded, and performed two albums worth of material consisting of trials and tribulations of life, lost
family and dear friends, and everyday life in a small ghetto town. Being a new great band from a desolate area, they created a great following of fans and life long friends that made them a popular item in the Phoenix valley. Playing with such bands as Flotsam and Jetsam, The Misfits, Skin Lab, Adema, Agent Orange, Hemlock and Primer 55 brought them a consistent following of loyal fans.

After a falling out with the family he knew for seven years, he became a part of a new band (consisting of key members from Inkult) called North of Nowhere. With the solid foundation that Inkult laid through the better part of a decade, and the assortment of instruments back and forth between members on stage and in the studio, North of Nowhere hit the ground running. Creating a greater following within a short amount of time playing major national shows with bands such as Soulfly, Darkest Hour, Periphery, as well as the best bands that Phoenix has to offer.

While the story of Joshua Michael's history is summed up, the journey of Ebinezer has just begun. Four musicians carry the heavy, gracious, alternative soutwestern blues/rock soul of Ebinezer.
