Vanessa Mai is one of Germany's most versatile and successful pop and schlager artists. The now 32-year-old was born in Backnang, near Stuttgart.

She first became known as the lead singer of the band Wolkenfrei, with whom she released the gold-certified album Endlos verliebt in 2014. The follow-up album Wachgeküsst, including the hit single Wolke 7, was still released under the name Wolkenfrei, but was already her solo project.

Since 2015, she has been celebrating groundbreaking success as Vanessa Mai (over 500 million streams) and has released a number of studio albums, including two #1 albums and four Top 3 albums.

In addition to her singing career, Vanessa Mai has also made a name for herself as an actress, dancer, social media star, and advertising icon. She has 1.2 million followers on Instagram and 1.7 million on TikTok (with over 39 million likes).

Since summer 2024, the multi-talent has been signed with Warner Music, marking a new chapter in her career.
