Helgi og hljóðfæraleikararnir (Helgi and the instrument players)

are an extremely independent rock group from northern Iceland.
More than anything they play poppunk but then they are folkrock and folkpunk, even heavy, but rather trashy than metal but then most of all they are.
H&H are a famous concert band, and they have built up an notorious group of followers so called Múgur (Mob), who follow there idols through thick.
Helgi og hljóðfæraleikararnir were founded in the nineteenhundredeighties, when the band members were very young. They still are.
