18-year-old Swiftie Melvin Eats Mangos, located in Florida USA, is a lo-fi artist that began releasing music in late 2022 having no musical background. His journey began with his TikTok account; a primarily Kanye West fan account that began to post pro-Taylor Swift propaganda to attract her fanbase towards the account. As his account grew in popularity, he promoted his new discord server to his followers, in which he made some online friends. These online friends encouraged Melvin to begin his career, although he had no experience in music at all. This led to his debut in music with single "Memories With You". On the same day, he released his first EP: "Lemon." Fan-favorite tracks include "Summer" and "Blossom" Melvin and his friends continued to promote the career through discord, having little success. Melvin took a break from late 2022-late 2023, abandoning his friend group and taking a hiatus on his music career. Melvin had controversies from November 2022-January 2023, primarily regarding cyberbullying and sexism, but these controversies were proven false. In late 2023, Melvin started a podcast called “mentally ill latinas” which raised controversy, as it was a phrase used by his old online friends he abandoned, without their consent. The podcast currently only has one episode in which he talked about uninteresting topics with uninteresting people. It was later discovered that his podcast co-host had infiltrated his old friend group's private correspondence channels and was sending information to him. It is unknown what is currently in Melvin's life, having no evidence of an education, job, or active music career. He has chosen to keep his life private from the internet as of now. Since leaving LOONA, Melvin has since released tracks unknown songs. As the 2024 election is upcoming, Melvin has made it known that he is a registered as a republican voter, making sure to consistently support Donald Trump’s Project 2025. It is unknown who is in Melvin’s current friend group, but it is likely that he will abandon his current group in favor for anyone who lacks self awareness like him, as he has done since the Pandemic.
