JOHN WICKHAM is a master guitar player and played with various influential bands including The Way, Parable and Benny Hester Band during the 1970s and 1980s. He then went on work as a worship pastor at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California and is now the music leader of another Calvary Chapel called the Maranatha Chapel in San Diego, California. Both of John's sons are musicians in their own right with albums of their own. John is a long-time friend of Donnie's beginning in 1974 when Donnie's band, Salvation Air Force opened for The Way at Lodestone 74. They shared the stage again in December 1975 as well as when John played with Eric Nelson and Good News at Lodestone 75. John's last gig with Donnie was in February 1978 when Donnie was playing with Reba Rambo's band and John was playing Parable at the Night of Joy at Disneyland.
