NLE the Great is an alternative alias of Bryson Lashun Potts (born November 1, 2002), better known by his primary stage name NLE Choppa.

On July 7, 2025, NLE shared an Instagram post that depicted him getting his head shaved bald, alongside the caption “All Praises To The Most High, DISS SONG 8 PM CT.” Shortly afterward, his social media handles would change, revealing his new stage name of NLE the Great. “Messiah (Devil’s Diss)” would be released later that day.
