About Us
Displaying the diversity of a band whose players are influenced by blues, rock, R&B, jazz and zydeco, The ColdRail Blues Band is laying down a solid fun groove and bringing new life to static feet everywhere they play. Celebrating their 5th year, members of The ColdRail Blues Band are no strangers to the local music scene, each having played with many other people and groups over the years. Still each was looking for an outlet for the music that inspired them most. From this, The ColdRail Blues Band was born.
"We've been really fortunate finding the right people who love being together and creating fun music. Our drummer, Michael Gourley, is talented, fun and probably one of the easiest going people I've ever met.” When our harp player and co-vocalist, Glenn Woodhouse, joined us in our second year, our sound really came together... He rocks!" The newest addition to the band is John Rice who can really lay down a solid bottom end groove on the bass!
