The Silver Threads is Eileen Rose and The Legendary Rich Gilbert's side-project, separate from The Holy Wreck. They play classic country covers from the 50s-70s, by the likes of Connie Smith, Loretta Lynn, Ray Price and Buck Owens. Eileen and Rich formed the band about a year ago, partly to help pay their bills and fund the next Eileen Rose album, and partly for fun - they've been able to jam with some of the finest musicians in Nashville. They've been playing several shows a week in the honky tonks on Nashville's famous Lower Broad and have been getting rave reviews for their authentic classic country sound. Read more on Last.fm.
