bB grew up in Melbourne, Australia as Joshua Santospirito and has lived in Sydney and spent three glorious years in Alice Springs, Central Australia.

Using acoustic guitar and loops bB creates instrumental stories with ethereal counterpoints and polyrythms \.He has played alongside acts such as The Chap (UK/Germany), Bleubird (USA/France), Tommy Simatupang (Berlin, Germany), Seth Rees (Melbourne), Lehmann Smith (Melbourne), Anthony Magen (Melbourne), and experimental sound artist Robert Curgenven (Australia/Milan).

He has released four albums, all of which are currently out of print, the most recent of which was 2006's "Is this a desert?"

He currently lives in Hobart, Tasmania and is working on an EP to be released in early 2009 under his new stage-name of "Drive West Today".
