Burning Cold formed in October of 2009. The only concrete members at the time were Gary Long,Tim Strohmeyer and Tony Merlotti. As the search for the perfect drummer continued, the band practiced frequently and wrote the majority of their debut album “Chase the Sun.”
In late December, with determination and creativity behind their instruments, Burning Cold entered Tombstone Recording Studio in Nash
ville, TN to lay down their tracks.

The band’s intense riffs and powerful drive in sued thereafter. The music rapidly formed and messages of a more uplifting sort emerged.
After great support, knowledge, and know how of recording, Kyle Mann and Scotty Baker both engineers with Tombstone Recording Studio helped Burning Cold put out their debut album – “Chase the Sun”
A few shows into their surge of the music scene the search for the perfect drummer came to an end with Mikhail Stith – drummer and former percussionist of Gary Long’s previous group.
Now equipped with the missing piece, Burning Cold is starting their passionate drive to spread their music throughout the area and push their force felt live show.
