Västerås, Sweden (2007 – present)

Affecti Veternus, meaning "morbid passion" in latin, is an unsigned death metal band formed in 2007 in Västerås. They played at Sweden Rock Festival in 2009.

They currently consist of four members:
Anton Svensson, bass and vocals
David Söhr, guitar and backing vocals (also vocalist of Beyond All Recognition)
Paul Gidlöf, guitar
John Sjöberg, drums
