Kathleen Baird (a.k.a. Ka Baird, Sapropelic Pycnic and Traveling Bell) is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist living and working in NYC. She is one of the founding members of avant psych project Spires That In The Sunset Rise.

Ka relocated to NYC in late 2014 and immediately embarked upon new directions - exploring piano improvisations, electroacoustic intervention, extended vocal technique, physical movement and the electronic processing of her flute playing.
