There are at least 2 people named King Nebula
1: An IDM/Instrumental Hip-Hop project from Kansas City, Missouri
2: A rapper from Charlotte, North Carolina.
1: King Nebula is an electronic music project fronted by Grayson DeLong, who now fronts the bands Rows Of Ashes Of Roses (a comedy metal/cybergrind band) and Anxiety Affliction (a scene powerpop band). Though King Nebula is mainly considered an idm project, the music also borrows influences from hardcore hip-hop, space ambient, indietronica, trip hop, downtempo, and chillout music.
The project started in November of 2022 when DeLong was making experimental hip-hop beats, and needed an outlet to release them. This resulted in the Planet Barz mixtape, released on November 10th of the same year, and the formation of the downtempo band Relaxxity.
In December 2022 he released a split LP with Abiectus, and the albums 12 and Grey Skies. These releases were all promoted via King's Instagram and via the music creation website Bandlab.
On December 29th, 2022, the downtempo band Relaxxity released their debut studio album The Nebula Radio.
On September 16th, 2023, King Nebula released his third studio album The Malfunction, with little to no promotion backing it.
On November 7th, 2023, King released the fourth and final studio album The Moonlight and All the Stars. Being a drastic shift from the other releases, it is marketed as an "ambient experience" and is a space ambient album with drone parts. It is King's most successful album to date, and has gotten favorable reviews from critics online.
In June 2024, DeLong announced that he was discontinuing the project due to a lack of ideas and work on other ventures.
2: King Nebula is a rapper from Charlotte, North Carolina. He has released multiple albums/projects such as Unicorn Rice and London. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
