All the Islands is one of the many darlings from How Is Annie records. And like what has become typical for HIA bands, they combine many genres - mainly emo and progressive rock/metal. This results in a band sounding a bit like I Hate Myself, rest of my life and Dominic, a bit like Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu and At the Drive-in, and even old school progressive rock mammoths like King Crimson.

The band got together in 2005 in a celler on Grünerløkka in Oslo, without any clear direction. However after a short while they completed a couple of tunes that indicated where this band would move in the near future.

After jamming a bit and playing a couple of gigs in Oslo and Notodden, they recorded their album "Polarise" in several different parts of Norway. The result is HIA 015.
