Doherty was a screamo metal or whatever those wierd genres are called. It was a four piece band from chicago/oak lawn, mainly playing local shows and small venues. The band lasted a little more than a year, changing its name to The North Country when bassist Bob Wagner left the band. Shortly after the band split up and the members went there own seperate ways.
