Torrential Rain is a progressive metalcore band originating from Nürnberg, Germany. The group was established in 2011 and comprises four members: Christopher Danner, who serves as both the vocalist and guitarist, Gordian Golder on guitar, Dominik Grauvogl on bass, and Dario Trennert as the drummer.

The band's music is characterized by a fusion of progressive metalcore and djent elements, finding inspiration from bands like August Burns Red and Polaris and the progressive-virtuoso style reminiscent of Periphery. Their lyrical themes often revolve around topics such as romance, breakups, introspection, and a message of solidarity with their fanbase.

One of their notable tracks, "Left Outside," explores themes of emotional separation and self-deception, weaving a compelling narrative through both its music and lyrics. This song is incorporating modern compositional elements like trap beats, orchestral arrangements, synthesizers, pianos, and choir vocals into the metalcore and djent sound.

In addition to their studio work, Torrential Rain has expanded their horizons by participating in live performances alongside bands like Watchout Stampede and Chaosbay. Notably, they were part of the "Glamour & Gloom" tour, where they supported the headliner Tenside. Starting from 2020, Torrential Rain embarked on a prolific journey of releasing eight singles, amassing over 1.5 million streams and garnering a dedicated following among fans and music curators alike. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, Torrential Rain maintained a consistent release schedule, offering singles like "Time Will Tell," "Why Do I Care," and "Obstacles" throughout 2021.
