Mikey and the Gypsys is a band with roots in the "Knife-South" Stockholm, Sweden. In 2008 Mikey met the other members out on his annual caravan. Since then, they recorded their first album at Zoo Studio, which will be released soon.

The band has taken the opportunity to play at various clubs, bars and a circus-tents to lubricate their gypsy-hearts in anticipation of the album.

Mikey and the Gypsys originate from various other bands.

Recently we heard one of their songs in the TV program "How I met your mother" on CBS.
