After years of recording, touring and playing with a cavalcade of Morgantown, West Virginia bands, Ryan Hizer is a good sport. Now located in Pittsburgh, Hizer's latest project (since the now defunct Librarians and Big Ass Manatee) has washed ashore as Good Sport. "And Now We Are Talking" is a five-song EP that spans a gallery of influences that play out in layer-cake breakbeat hip-hop and drowsy blissed-out drone. As Hizer continues his work as a producer (Spirit Night, The Overcoat, Sleepwalker), Good Sport seems to be his primary outlet for music at the moment, but if he's talking, now we are listening.
