Trespasses is a three-piece folk-pop band from South Bend, Indiana. Formed two years ago in cellist and singer Anna Leniski's basement and pianist Charlie Buck's garage the band slowly but surely began creating twinkly and original material. Lyricist Liza Milhander combines her personal experiences with unique poetric devices to fill out the eccentric style of Trespasses. The band introduces themselves with poppy songs such as "I'd Rather Be Arguing", a fast-paced harmonious song featuring eclectic piano parts and "Dead Dogs", a wildly fun song for people of a variety of tastes. Other songs such as "Catholic Boy Blues" and "Bloom Where You're Planted" exhibit a strangely cynical side to the band while maintaining a jazzy sound.

The band continues to record and write songs and plans to plan a variety of shows and venues over the summer of 2010. While there is no current release date set for an EP, the band can be messaged via their myspace and material can be sent (though I'm sure they'll make their debut on Mediafire Records soon enough).
