A Korean hiphop musician, he released his first album Heavy Bass in 2004. However, he had been performing in underground venues, and had appeared in several other artists' albums. 2 years after releasing Heavy Bass, P-Type released a single album Soulfire.

His second album, The Vintage, has been released for digital downloads towards the end of November 2008 and was met with great fanfare. The CD album is to be released on the 2nd of December.
