PÚLK is a danish folk/rock/punk/alternative band, originally conceived by Rune Colin (accordion, vocals, sometimes mandola), Benjamin Bech (clarinet) and Kristian Luis (bass). PÚLK released two semi-professionally-recorded demos in this configuration - in 2006 and 2007, and played at small concerts and festivals. In 2006 the band played at Nakkefestival.

Some time in 2008, the band expanded with Simon Busk, who added a wide range of percussion to the overall sound of PÚLK. During 2008 the band played at the Strib winter-festival, again at Nakkefestival, and a wide range of smaller gigs.

During 2009 PÚLK recorded a professional EP, set to be released in early 2010 (the band's on hiatus until then).
