White Line Tiger was an experimental post-hardcore band from Long Island/Elmont, New York, United States.

They formed some time before 2005. Influences include Thursday, Thrice, The Fall Of Troy. Their album Just Let It Happen released in early 2012.

Reviews of their album:

"White Line Tiger is a five-piece band from Long Island, NY with a supercharged sound and dramatic flair to spare as heard on their 12-track endeavor JUST LET IT HAPPEN. Bouncy bass lines and gritty fretwork lead the way across the duration of this album (“H-Song”), while drums skillfully crash and groove along and vocals make the abundance of jagged switches official (“Rosa”). Laying down a funk-driven heaviness with a predilection for melodic hooks, there’s a whole lot of Deftones, VOD, and Glassjaw influence audible on this album, yet White Line Tiger throws an enjoyable array of clever intricacies and unique phrasings in the mix to allow their music to transcend comparisons and stand out on its own (“Mrs. Glamorous”). www.whitelinetiger.com"

"White Line Tiger is a Band hitting the Long Island Scene with a ferocious, fast paced, style of music that has been getting recognized. White Line Tiger is made up of five amazing and talented guys that are working hard at creating a name for them selves. However, what strikes anyone about this group is how they are also supporting other bands that are also trying to make a name as well. This is a band that is truly grateful for their fan base and probably knows everyone of their fans name, because they make the effort too. In this interviewer's opinion, White Line Tiger is one classy, talented, charismatic act that definitely deserves and most likely will end up with everything they deserve."

Kind of a Post-metal, emo, proggy metal type thing. I guess it’s a little bit like Protest the Hero, mixing up some brutal stuff, catchy guitar and eclectic mix of metal styles. One of the better of this post-emo-core whatever you call it type metal. I think where this kind of music gets bad is when it gets all “two-steppy” and there isn’t much of that in here.
