A psalmist in the true sense of the word, Phillip Ferrell II has been making music for most of his life both vocally and as a keyboardist. Displaying inherent musical abilities as early as age 4, Phillip received grassroots training through his family’s church affiliation where his father functioned as soloist & choir director, and later became a minister, and finally a pastor. 

As a participant in several choirs and ensembles, Phillip continued to perfect his singing and songwriting talents throughout adolescence. He began professional training at the age of 12, first studying classical music and ultimately jazz. Eventually Phillip became as fascinated with the technical aspect of creating music as he had been performing it. Consequently, he began working with bands and singers all over the country.  This love of the technology led him to enroll at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts, earning a degree in Music Production and Engineering & Songwriting.  Since the program completion, Phillip has had many notable accomplishments.  

Currently, Phillip resides with his wife and daughter in Greater Seattle, Washington. Phillip is serving as the Managing Partner of singlikethefree.com, the very best in musical training and consulting, and owner of Citywalk Music, a music production house that serves the needs and dreams of artists.  He continues to be in demand as a guest worship leader, songwriter, and producer traveling throughout  the country and abroad.
