There are two bands with the name BOK.
1986-present: An indie electronic rock outfit founded by Tim Granda.
1990s: A UK indie rock band formed and based in London.

Founder of Bandaido and the Any Surface Band, Tim Granda went on to attract the attention of Hilly Kristal, owner of the infamous NYC club CBGB, who invited him to record and perform at his club for nearly 20 years. In 2009, Tim revives BOK for the first time since 1986.

BOK were a UK indie rock band who first appeared to polite critical acclaim in London, in 1997.

The lineup was Matthew James Crutchlow (Singer, Songwriter, Guitar), Andrew Holdsworth (Bass, Voice), Seton Daunt (Guitar), Richard Young (Drums).

The first track Airport from their first EP, Ain't No Venn Diagram, Baby was well received by the music press and was championed by Steve Lamacq on his Radio One show.

Their second EP, Alarm In The Beehive was also well received, gaining excellent reviews in Music Week, Kerrang! and other notable music weeklies.

Sadly, the razzmatazz of all the attention made the band a little giddy. They disbanded in February 2000.

Matthew continues to write, record and play songs. Seton rejoined Santa's Boyfriend who later changed their name to Fiction Plane. Andrew is a successful recording engineer, producer and composer. Richard is a graphic designer.
