2.) The Mortal were born on February 2006 in East Kilbride consisting of Fin Black,Charlie McInnes and Ali Robertson. Born out of frustration of playing 'covers' they decided to lock themselves in the studio and make some original music. The Mortal list their influences as; Muse, Primal Scream, The Cult, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, The Clash, Kasabian, Bauhaus, Killing Joke, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Jesus and Mary Chain, Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets, Queens of the Stone Age, and many many more. In May 2007, The Mortal entered a song "Higher Plain" on to an internet and terrestrial radio show called Fame Games*, which reached the main edition of the radio show after several qualifying rounds. We were delighted to have progressed so well in this contest and we were honoured to be considered for the following nominations at the annual Fame Games Awards . Read more on Last.fm.
