Andy Jackson aka Fhiyahshua was born at Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston on March 28,1974, raised in Bedward Garden St Andrew August Town.

He attended the Aquinas Basic School, then August Town Primary, and later Mona High.

At an early age he was surrounded by music as his father owned a sound system, which he played and sang songs on.

Fhiyahshua's music is an inborn feeling given to mankind by the Almighty, Fhiyahshua is also motivated mainly by his mother, Wife, Family members, producers and real friends.

Knowing that word is power, holding the Rastafarian faith, Fhiyahshua is urged to sing positive songs that would uplift the minds of people.

By listening to music, he was inspired by many artistes but mainly by Bob Marley and the Wailers - Mighty Diamonds - Burning Spear - Garnet Silk - Brigadier Jerry - Sista Nancy - Buju Banton - Capleton - Sizzla - Shabba Ranks - Beenie Man - Bounty Killer - Michael Jackson - Marcia Griffiths and the list go on.
