Migrant Motel combines modern alternative pop sounds with contemporary production techniques into a blend that is unique yet familiar. Peruvian-American David Stewart Jr. (vocals, bass) and Mexican native Chava Ilizaliturri (drums) formed Migrant Motel in Boston while they were studying together at college. They’ve built their fan base in the US, Mexico, and throughout Latin America. Migrant Motel is now aiming their sights on the growing bilingual and bicultural youth movement in the United States. Seeking more opportunities and a bigger stage, the pair relocated to Los Angeles in 2020.

The band has played multiple shows on the LA circuit, performing in legendary venues such as the Whiskey A Go Go, the Viper Room, the Roxy, and the Troubadour. Migrant Motel made their headlining appearance on the BMI stage at Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago in 2021. Read more on Last.fm.
