Level & Tyson is an noisy alternative rock band from Oslo NO, fronted by the intense and compellingly insane singer Richard Noir. Since the beginning L&T has been in the habit of confusing people; ranging from noisy and disturbing intensity to sweet as sugar ballads, all wrapped up in a punky howl along the lines of The Violent Femmes, Pere Ubu and the Minutemen.

Level & Tyson released their debut ”Even Faster Still” in 2012 to an overwhelming response. Norwegian newspaper Klassekampen wrote that ”Level & Tyson's expression is both modern and timeless... on the record the bands sound is extremely confident, on stage they are bursting with enthusiasm... Level & Tyson should be on every stage this summer” Norway's most selling newspaper VG called the band ”The art rock version of The Pixies” French music magazine Les Zindés said ”the records only fault is that it is too short”. Norway biggest independent music magazine Hissig rated the album among the top 10 best albums of the year, declaring that ”This band has that little something extra”. Since the release Level & Tyson has toured the mother land extensively and done a packed three week european tour in february 2014. The band is now working on the upcoming EP that will be released in september 2014 featuring the great Japanese avant garde cellist Sakamoto Hiromichi, and their second album set to february of 2015.
