Temple of Perdition is a black metal project that began in September 2017, between Ya'akov Nahash, Joonas Heikkinen, and Benainah, out of Texas in the United States and Finland. Shortly after their formation, the band signed with Vision of God Records. While Temple of Perdition never considered itself a fully "Christian band", Yaakov's intention to fully abandon Judeo-Christian subjects was too serious of a change for most band members (who, up until that point, were generally Christians) and in October 2019, most of the then-active members left, and Temple and Vision of God Records agreed to part ways soon afterward.
