Tribe Steppaz Soundsystem A.K.A Prime Mover consists of UK Native Dave Cridge & American dj Tasha are Drum & Bass/Dubstep resident dj & director of Drum & Bass tours for the legendary DMC organization.

Cridge got his start DJing regularly with the likes of Roni Size, Die, Jody(Way Out West), and has been recording withhis band “Up Bustle and Out“ (best known for their Ninja Tune releases) for several years now. Tasha got his start being called “Virginia’s King of Jungle“ by URB mag(urb ‘74), and also becoming the first American to have a 12’ on Bristol,UK label Tribe Recordings. Press on Prime Mover tunes includes charting of several singles including their “Star Wars“ remix which claimed 3 on the DMC dnb chart in summer of 2005.

In 2007 Tasha and Ms. Lauren brought the well known Konkrete Jungle franchise to Las Vegas. Two years later the Konkrete Jungle crew took the party to the next level teaming up with Knowledge Magazine to bring stateside‘s first BarKnowledge USA events. The kick off event hosted Aphrodite for his first Vegas performance alongside Apx1, Crs?, and Rob Recka at the world famous Penthouse Club.

In 2008 Tasha & Dave saw dubstep’s ever growing grasp on the dance music world so inevitably Prime Mover evolved into Tribe Steppaz Soundsystem. The groups first dubstep release came from the Los Angeles based Hum Fi Dub label in 2008 and was followed up by 2 tunes on Foul Play records, and several slated for Tribe Steppaz and Rinsin' Dub records.
