Non-Bio is a south London-based band exploring musical genres that include electronic, industrial, IDM and dark ambient, described by Vox Empirea magazine as "The soundtrack of futuristic dreams."

Non-Bio is an outgrowth of Howard Gardner's animation/film website www.downwithfreedom.com, where he has previously created cartoon music videos for other bands (notably History Of Guns, Daniel Vincent and The Resonance Association) and in 2009 developed a taste for making his own musical compositions to accompany visual pieces.

Howard collaborated with Skat Injector as guitarist during the bands early days, but left in 2007 to go his own way and pursue other electronic sounds. Non-Bio's main influences today include Throbbing Gristle, Skinny Puppy, The Aphex Twin, Wumpscut, Coil and the some of the early output by Nine Inch Nails. In 2012 Karl Lloyd of X-KiN joined the band to provide additional live electronics, samples and backing vocals for stage shows. He has also done remixes of various Non-Bio tracks.

The first album 'Blue Horned Humanoids' was released in October 2011 and The Game EP followed in 2013.

Bio
For some time now Howard has been making short films, animations, and music videos for other people, but in recent years he moved into making his own music in the studio as well. In 2012 Non-Bio grew into a proper band with the addition of Karl and playing some live gigs.
