Eeli, Sauli and Aki decided to make music and play together. In the beginning they didn't have bassist, and the first gig was coming. They picked Jere Mattila to deal with basses. Band's first name was Torn Asunder, but it was taken, so they chosen Shadowblind. SB has been in action for two and a half years. They had a summer minitour 2010, which called "Minutes Of Misery tour", at least the band members say so.

Shadowblind had their fifth gig in Forssa city, and they decided to test one song with new singer. SB crew and the audience liked it, so they picked Karri.

Band recorded a demo, without a singer. And the demo was released 16.11.2010. The demo is called "The Flames Glow Black", which is the name of band's first song. The album sold around 130 copies.

Shadowblind played the "No Hope" -tour successfully. SB were on hiatus for a little time, but now the band is standing still and going forward with even more stronger, faster and angrier material.

In November 2011 Jere parts away from Shadowblind.

Pretty soon after Jere flew away from SB, Jaska Halme from Suhdeluku said that he wants to help SB. The band took Jaska into the band. Jaska has high motivation to play, which was something SB were looking for.

In the spring of 2012 Karri Tasala decides to leave SB. Soon after Karri left the place of vocalist. The band decided to forget the EP-project. Reasons to that are the following: it took almost an year to make that record, two band members left during the process and the band made many new (better) songs. Even though SB released one song from the EP, which is called "Weakness My Strenght". It can be listened and downloaded from the SB's facebook and myspace -sites.
