“The 7-1-8-Kid”

T-Eazy is a Brooklyn-bred emcee with that old school 90s flow and that new millennium swag. Also known as the 7-1-8 Kid, he is determined to make his ascension to the ranks of the borough’s rap legends. His immense talent and confidence emanates through his music.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, the emcee’s musical influences come from the borough’s two rap pillars, the Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. He first stated rhyming at 14-years-old experimenting with his first mixtape, History in da Makin’. Then two years ago he took his craft seriously and released 7-1-8 Wit' Me Vol. 1: Hosted by DJ Joker, which was followed by Vol. 2, before dropping his most recently mixtape Tha Future in Tha Present.

T-Eazy’s slick delivery and skillful lyricism has earned him a following around New York’s underground scene. He has performed at well known underground havens like Don Hills, the Bowery Poetry Club, and Harlem’s National Black Theatre. Eazy was nominated a Top Ten Artist of the Year by the NYC’s Elegant Hoodness Showcase.

Rap Fanatic Magazine dubbed Eazy as an Independent Threat and YoRap.com has touted him in its Next 2 Blow section. RapMullet.com cited the emcee as the “suitable heir to Hip-Hop's highest title” and Hip Hop Is Read certified his Brooklyn anthem “Bring It Back” a hit. PerfSpot.com, a social network of over 21 million people, featured Eazy as the artist of the day in December. The emcee has also made his rounds on New York college radio stations to much fan fare.

Eazy appeared on The Shady 45 Morning Show’s Don’t Quit Your Day Job with Angela Yee and guest Joe Buddens. His music received good reviews from listeners who called in to rate the Brooklyn anthem “Bring It Back” and the ladies hit “Its Nothin’.” Buddens' even had some ohhs-n-ahhs for the 7-1-8 Kid's impromptu freestyle.

Brooklyn’s son has been proactive in establishing a buzz by headlining events like Set tha Stage on Fire and performing at city clubs. T-Eazy is working on his debut album, We da Future Is da Slogan, which is slated for release later this year on his imprint, NG Records. The first single off the album is the New York City anthem “Yankee Fitted” because if there are two things every dude in the Big Apple does its stack money and wear New York Yankees’ hats.

His songwriting versatility is impressive. The 7-1-8-Kid makes music everyone can vibe to: something for playas and hustlers; something for ladies and clubs; and of course lyrics with substance. Brooklyn is known for heavy-hitting emcees and Eazy is of that pedigree.
