About Product 62

For as long as music has existed, it has changed and evolved along with the surrounding environment. Product 62 is no exception. Since its first days in a garage in Lynn, MA, c. 1996, the band has explored the realms of music, and has matured into a prominent force in the Boston music scene. Utilizing melody and harmony without sacrificing their hardcore/metal roots, Product 62 has created a dramatic sound that has captured the attention of several rock fans in the Boston area. This unique style of rock is a blend of irregular time signatures, hypnotizing breakdowns, blistering metal riffs, driving bass and drum interludes, and livid screams meshed with captivating vocal harmonies. The music is superimposed with emotional lyrics that never cease to connect with the listener's own trials and tribulations. Although each instrument plays an irreplaceable role, the collective has become something more powerful than any individual. It is a force that has virtually created itself through the strong musical bond between the five members of Product 62. Since songwriting has become second nature, the band has now taken a more business-minded approach to the industry with the establishment of Product 62, Inc. They are now promoting their new 7-song EP "Self-Inflicted," engineered and co-produced by John Ellis (Dogfight, Tribe of Judah, Godsmack) at Prism Sound Studios in Acton, MA. They will continue to spread the word by playing live shows and promoting the website: www.product62.com.
