UNMASK aLIVE is a Japanese pop punk/loud rock band from Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, founded in 2014. The band is known for its unique fusion of pop punk, emo, and loud rock, which it refers to as "Wabi sabi pop punk", an aesthetic concept reflecting impermanence and melancholy. Current members include KD on vocals, Tetsuya Morisawa and Rintaro on guitars, Riku on bass, and Negishi Yuu on drums. Original members Akechi on guitar and Tabata on drums were replaced by Morisawa and Yuu.

Their debut mini-album titled "Blooms" was released in September 2018 via Daylight Records. It includes songs characterized by a blend of melancholy and Japanese rock sounds, with lyrics exploring themes of loss and nostalgia. Lyrics often reflect themes of nature and emotional introspection, as seen in songs from the second mini-album Focus, released in Otocber 2019. This album features fast-paced, sentimental melodies with a pop punk edge. Their discography also includes the self-titled EP UNMASK aLIVE (2019), the album UNMASK aLIVE II (My mother is "CAT") (2021), and the EP Perfect Blue (2022).

UNMASK aLIVE's members balance music with day jobs, allowing them to create without financial pressures, an approach that underpins their philosophy of longevity and passion over commercial success. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, they averaged eight live performances monthly and now continue to focus heavily on live shows, including a two-man performance with Bubble Baby at Shimokitazawa SHELTER in Tokyo on October 24, 2024.
