Jane is the bounce in the O'2L duo. The name derived from Peter O'Toole. They have done some extensive work with other artists like Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She and her husband have produced two very creative products of their own with O'2l (same name) and Doyles Brunch with an evident sense of humor. At Bang Records in 1997, Jane Mangini joined the company’s roster of composers. A formally trained keyboardist from the Berkeley School of Music who was at the time playing in a piano bar on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, she brought a very different melodic sensibility to the Bang collective—a pronounced stylistic shift from the music of Bang’s guitar-trained composers.
