Angelina Dove :
"I was born on Forest Lane, London.
I wasn't one of those people who was writing songs aged two, or a child prodigy of any kind, i don't even come from a remotely musical family that I know of .
When I was two my parents relocated to Lincolnshire to "live the dream" in a self sufficient style small-holding, away from conventional life.
I was home schooled.
The household in which I was raised implemented a complete ban on fiction and popular music, no radio, no TV.
Books were to take strict instruction from, or press flowers in.
However I was able to obtain some books that planted the seeds that became the roots of my undomesticated and somewhat incoherent imagination.
Storytelling became an outlet for me, and since I'd exhausted the family library, I began inventing my own.
Music was discouraged, squished into reverent form, singing was reserved for orderly prayer meetings.
Pop music was contraband.
Pop stars were false idols.
To be a singer was self exaltation.
I'd take myself off into the woods just to hear the sound of my own voice, echoing and vibrating, and in this I found myself.
I remember the moment I heard actual music, it got into me like a worm and wouldn't leave.
I knew then.
When I was seventeen I escaped to London in the blind hope of living my own dream. I felt a sense of rebellious freedom, and I knew that this was my path.
I feel its all starting now, this is the actual beginning, now with Harry in Snow Hill"

Harry Sever :
"I was born in London in 1991 and wrote my first piece of music aged 8, after hearing the music of J.S. Bach for the first time.
I have studied the piano and singing for as long as I can remember, and now work as a composer and conductor.
I grew up listening to my Dad.s records and the film scores of Morricone, Korngold and Bernstein.
I studied at Oxford where I directed the University Symphony Orchestra and founded my own chamber orchestra.
Music is the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning and the last thing before I go to bed at night.
It is my adrenaline rush onstage and my relaxant off it.
Music is my pulse, and my pulse is music.
It makes me feel, and cuts me off from my feelings.
It makes me fall in love with girls, and makes girls fall in love with me.
Music keeps me awake at night and puts me to sleep. Music makes me different.
Angie and I met in London, we started writing songs at the piano in my house in Oxford.
