After shows with Autokratz and Fenech-Soler, ZX have been gaining widespread recognition for both their live performance and production efforts. This in turn has prompted features on several top international music blogs including Too Many Sebastians and Sheena Beaston. ZX are adamant that this is just a beginning, and endeavor to spread their bombastic maximalist house as far and wide as they can.

The 20 year old duo of Jamie Graham and James Trayford hail from Peterborough in the UK, and bonded over their love for music while in high school. From the age of thirteen, they’ve been making music together under various guises, their latest incarnation as ZX began in January 2009. After becoming disillusioned with the mainstream local rock scene, they decided to pack away their guitars in favor of the synth-heavy dance sound they execute today.

As the most recent signing to the Metamimetic family, we are proud to introduce ZX. They are currently laying the finishing touches to their latest EP as well as exclusive remixes for their friends Fenech-Soler, Sam Wilkes and The Whisky Jax.
