Sadaf Amini learned to play the Santur when she was a child. Later, later entering high school at the Tehran School of Music. In 2012, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Iranian Music Performance at Tehran University. During her studies, she trained with several Masters of the Santur. After immigrating to Canada, she received her Master’s degree in Music Technology at the University of Toronto in 2018. She has performed at festivals and concerts, as well as collaborated with various ensembles, which has led to several album recordings. Currently, she is expanding her repertoire from traditional Iranian music to a more personal style that expresses her inner feelings to a greater extent. Read more on Last.fm.
